Greyhound Mortgage is aptly named in honor of our historic location. Until approximately 1977, this site was the Greyhound Bus Depot for Tuolumne County. After their move to the south end of Sonora, this unit was annexed as overflow dining for the famous Europa Café and Wilma’s, restaurants previously located next door. Always affectionately called the Greyhound Room, the name is a sweet reminder of our history. The owner-broker of Greyhound Mortgage, Larry Bezaitis, has been part of this history since 1970.
